Growers Market Pyrmont, Sydney

Popular with Sydneysiders, the Sydney Morning Herald Growers' Market brings fresh produce into the city on the first Saturday of every month.

Growers' Market Pyrmont is a pioneer on the Sydney farmers' market scene, turning 16 years old in 2014.

Located by Sydney Harbour at the picturesque Pyrmont Bay Park, it features more than 70 producers' stalls selling everything from fresh fruit and seasonal vegetables to venison, lamb, beef, rare-breed pork and seafood.

Loyal regulars and visitors make a morning of it with specialty breakfasts, locally-roasted coffee and much more.

Market goers get monthly recipe inspiration from guest celebrity chefs at the Market Chef Stage, hosted by Good Food Month director (and The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide editor) Joanna Savill.
It also features demonstrations by a celebrity chef or cookbook author at the market chef stage.

Located at Pyrmont Bay Park, visitors can browse with around 70 stalls packed with fresh fruit and vegetables straight from the farm, artisan cheeses, meat, poultry, olive and macadamia oils, vinegars, preserves, grains and so much more.

For Good Food Month, Growers’ embraces Barbecue Madness with a fine-food sausage sizzle courtesy of our fabulous food stalls, as well as cooking demonstrations on a barbecue theme from Good Food personalities Adam Liaw and Frank Camorra, on the Market Chef stage.

Share the Good Food Month spirit and join us for breakfast, brunch and all the fixings for a picnic lunch.
