11 fantastic festivals in Sydney for 2011


Coming in Sydney in 2011 are the following 11 Fantastic Festivals

Semi-Permanent (13th & 14th May 2011)
This convention for design, new media and visual communications has already confirmed photojournalist Stephen Dupont, artist and musician Reg Mombassa and art director Annie Sperling as part of their 2011 line-up.

Vivid (27th May to 13th June 2011)
Vivid literally set Sydney alight once again with its cutting edge line-up of art, music, ideas and projections on the Opera House sails.

Sydney Film Festival (8th to 19th June 2011)
Cinephiles will flock to this fortnight long film fest when the best new Australian and international films are screened alongside a line-up of talks and seminars by leading directors, writers and critics.

Sydney Design (August 2011)
The people of Sydney will go design crazy for a whole month this year. And with Sydney Design’s exhibitions, lectures, tours and workshops, we don’t blame ‘em one little bit.

Graphic Festival (20th & 21st August 2011)
Having hosted comics stars Neil Gaiman, Kevin Smith and Gary Groth during the first ever festival last year, Graphic promises to up the ante in 2011 and we can’t wait.
