Sydney will welcome more cruise capacity in 2012 when Celebrity Millennium arrives for a brief visit before embarking on Celebrity Cruises’ first foray into Asia.
The Millennium, which was previously based in Australia in the summer of 2008/09, will join Celebrity Solstice in local waters.
Celebrity Millennium will operate eight 14-night cruises from home ports in Singapore and Hong Kong. The Asian season will be bookended by
two transpacific voyages. The first is a westbound voyage from Honolulu to Sydney in November 2012, followed by a 17-night voyage from Sydney to Singapore.
