SYDNEY Festival 2012 launches into action in Parramatta on January 13 to 22, with a big line-up of local and international artists.The festival is expected to attract people from across Sydney as well as residents.
Local and international theatre, music and films will be presented at the Riverside Theatres and Prince Alfred Park will have it's very own Spiegeltent filled with music and late-night cabaret.
There will also be a program of free events, with the Parra Opening Party taking over the streets on January 14, a concert under the stars with Dan Sultan, Busby Marou and Kasey Chambers at the Old King's School site on January 21, and an array of activities popping up all over the CBD.

Opening Night
Acts from Holly Throsby and The Listies for the kids, through to the stunning acrobatics of As the World Tipped and Norman Jay's non-stop music, will take over the streets with a program that spans the afternoon and evening.

Closing Night
Celebrate the last night of Sydney Festival Parramatta with a free concert starring Dan Sultan, Busby Marou and Kasey Chambers.

AA Bondy
Former lead singer with 1990s rockers Verbena, AA Bondy's recent work has shifted towards a more stripped back alt-folk sound. He will perform at The Idolize Spiegeltent on January 19 and 20 at 7pm.

Asa and Fefe
Nigerian-French artists Asa and F?f? bring Motown and funk grooves to Parramatta. Asa and Fefe will perform at the Riverside Theatres on January 17, at 8.30pm.
The Briefs
A disorderly line-up of Australia's finest performers and mischief-makers in a circus-infused variety show for the not-so-faint-hearted. January 13 to 22 at The Idolize Spiegeltent.
