NEW Exhibit Arriving Soon to Sydney Aquarium!!

This June, Sydney Aquarium will unveil a brand new exhibit to the public  – Tropical Bay of Rays – one of fourteen new exhibits set to re-open as part of the attraction’s extensive $10M refurbishment programme.
The completely new area will give visitors to Sydney’s iconic attraction an up-close glimpse into the lives of the graceful marine creatures who will reside in a centralised tank, surrounded by tropical palms, a pink illuminated sunset scene and a visual landscape which will take visitors to a tropical haven in the heart of the city.
A variety of ray species will call the new Bay of Rays home, many of which are making their debut appearance at the attraction.  It will be difficult to miss the electric blue spots of the Fantail Rays and the Blue-spotted Maskray, and with other species including the spectacular Leopard Sharks, White-spotted Guitarfish and Leopard Whiprays, the new tropical oasis will be a sight not to be missed.
The Bay of Rays will also offer a variety of interactive opportunities for visitors including daily feeds, talks and an opportunity to see aquarists get up-close inside the tank with the graceful floor-skimming animals.

The new Bay of Rays exhibit is just one of many exciting activities on offer to the public ahead of the attraction’s grand reopening as SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium this September.
