The recently renovated and renamed Metro Hotel Miranda, the closest hotel accommodation to Sutherland Hospital and a wide range of medical specialists, is increasingly becoming a popular accommodation choice for people visiting Miranda for medical reasons or to visit loved ones in hospital.
As a result of increased demand for ‘medical stays’, Metro Hotel Miranda recently added 14 new Superior rooms, four of which specifically cater for people with physical disabilities and the aged, to its offering of 40 family and standard rooms.
According to Metro Hotel Miranda Manager, Dale Harlick, while the hotel is popular with both business and leisure travellers, it has experienced a significant increase in business from people attending hospitals nearby for surgery or other medical treatment.
“Many guests have been recommended to stay at the hotel by doctors from the local hospitals and medical practices,” Dale said.
“This is because of the positive feedback they have received from people who have had to come from the South Coast and surrounding areas for medical treatment and have had family staying with us for extended periods.”
Located at the highest point of Miranda, Metro Hotel Miranda is a non-smoking hotel and offers quality accommodation at affordable prices for all its guests.
The property was renamed to reflect its new enhanced offering, and Dale Harlick said the hotel would continue its focus on providing exceptional hospitality, service and dedication to excellence for which it is renowned.
