World Karate Championships Comes to Sydney


More than 750 competitors from over 50 countries are competing in the 11th Shotokan Karate-do International Federation (SKIF) World Championships.

The Championships are presided over by founding Kancho (Chairman) Hirokazu Kanazawa, who at 81 years of age is one of a handful of living holders of the highest black belt rank in Shotokan Karate, the 10th dan.

The SKIF World Championships are being held at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre from November 22-24. Spectator tickets are available at www.ticketdirect.com.au and at the door.
